This is the most Knowledgeable, Safe, and Professional establishment in the North Indianapolis area for those interested in Western Riding and Show events, and / or simply a good, safe, friendly environment for your horses - It provides a positive atmosphere for those that are interested in becoming true horseman. The facility is clean, safe and well maintained; the Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional; and the horses are all exceptionally well cared for, healthy, happy and safe to be around. My family has had many experiences with IB Stables over many years.  Our daughter took lessons from this stable many years ago, bought horses from them, had horses trained by them.  We have not had contact for quite some time.. did not have a reason until now.  I knew better at the time, but because they are very good at what they do, and the waiting list was long. I  took my mare to another trainer to have some finish work done ... then another trainer... then yet another trainer -- several thousand dollars later, still not a working horse.  I have some physical issues that make it impossible for me to ride without a well trained horse.  I took her to Iris Snyder and within a VERY short period of time, I am riding my horse.  Iris worked her, sent me working videos, gave lessons to me on how to continue this horse.  I've had this horse from birth, love her dearly and am very thrilled at the work that was done with her.  I finally am happy again, enjoying my horse and am forever grateful to IB Stables for giving me the chance to ride again.

I ride and show World Quality Paint Horses and my 2 nieces - ages 8 and 7 take lessons from Miss Iris. I have found her to be completely professional with them. She not only teaches them to ride but all the responsibilities that go with riding and caring for their horses. She's strict with their safety at all times and the girls love riding there. I have a 8 year quarter horse that I moved there a year ago to rehab from the demands of the show ring and the difference in his appearance and demeanor is amazing. I have been working with IB Stables for over 13 years. I have purchased two horses that were foaled by their horses. I have been so happy with the training that I have received. Iris truly loves teaching young riders about horses.  I like  how Iris does not just throw a young rider on a horse to get a paycheck, but she teaches safety around the horse from grooming and ground manners to riding. She helps beginner riders  to the advanced rider, depending on your skill level. The horses in her riding program are well manored.   The barn is a family atmosphere.  IB Stables has a great facility to take lessons.   I would feel comfortable letting my children take lessons there.
